Our standard shade shed widths include 3170mm, 4870mm, 6170mm, 9000mm, and 12000mm. Lengths start from 3 metres and go up to 24 metres. Need something different? We can customise the size to suit your specific requirements.

The main difference lies in the structural design and materials used. C2-rated shade sheds are built to withstand higher wind speeds, so they feature a shorter distance between portals, which increases overall strength. Additionally, cyclone-rated screws are used – these are longer and thicker to provide stronger connections and added durability in extreme conditions. All of our cyclone rating structures are certified to suit areas in cyclone prone areas.

Council permits are always issued to the property owner and as such it is recognised that it is the property owner’s responsibility to identify if building approval is required.

In saying this, in most cases the need for building approval is significantly reduced based on our shed design and the ability to easily remove it.

Building consents are all dependent on current buildings, shed location and local council regional development constraints.

We don’t supply guttering, but our shade sheds feature a sheeting overhang, allowing you to easily attach your own. We recommend sourcing a gutter that suits your specific setup.

Yes, we can provide additional sheeting for your shade shed. However, please note that once extra sheeting is added, the structure is no longer covered under its original engineering certification

No, they do not need to go on a concrete slab, we offer a range of different grounding options suited to your specific environment.

We offer three variations in our shade shed kits:

  1. Sheeting with flashing
  2. Sheeting with a rubber safety edge
  3. Frame-only

When choosing between flashing and a rubber safety edge, the main difference comes down to the finished look you're after.

Flashing provides a clean, sleek, and polished finish. It’s ideal if you want your shade shed to match or complement your home’s roof or achieve a more refined appearance.

Rubber safety edge is a more practical and cost-effective option, designed to provide added safety by covering sharp edges of the sheeting. It’s great for those prioritising function over aesthetics.

Both options serve a purpose—it just depends on the look and feel you're after for your spac.

The main difference between our Standard and Industrial Shade Sheds is the steel size and strength. Standard Shade Sheds use 75mm steel for residential and light commercial use, while Industrial Shade Sheds are made with heavy-duty 150mm steel, offering greater strength for larger structures. Industrial sheds also feature additional reinforcements like shoulder and truss bracing for extra stability.
